If I want to eat a lot of volume, I make sweet potatoes, eat lots of popcorn, or just load up on chicken breast. I can eat a ton of carrots with a small amount of a spread like hummus and it's very low calorie. Portion sizing becomes much less of an issue if you start structuring your cooking around the idea of high volume low calorie

It can impair weight loss (and health generally, but that’s another issue). So, if you’re eating low-cal fast food, which is still likely pretty high in sodium, try to make the rest of your day lower in sodium to offset it. Purely anecdotally, my father-in-law did this very thing.
